We started in 1986 as regional distributors to the Surgical Division of DAVIS & GECK.
During same 1986 and until 1989 we be became exclusive distributors to INTERVASCULAR INC. (Vascular Grafts). In 1989 the manufacturer decided to address the argentinian market through a direct operation.
In 1988 we start activities as exclusive distributors in Argentina for the embolectomy catheters manufactured by BIOMED (Mexico) and the thermodilution line SPECTRAMED (USA).
In 1989 we begin acting as exclusive representatives in Argentina for SIEMENS PACESETTER SYSTEMS responsibles for the pacemaker line manufactured in USA and Sweeden.
In 1994 St. Jude Medical adquired the PACESETTER division of SIEMENS. As a consequence, BIOIMPLANT S.A. became exclusive importer and selling distributor to ST. JUDE MEDICAL valves in their both versions: the biological devices manufactured in Brazil and the famous mechanical valve manufatured in USA.
In 1995 we start selling on exclusive basis in Argentina the peripheral nitinol stent developed and manufactured by MINTEC Inc.
In 1996 ST. JUDE MEDICAL appointed us as exclusive representatives for the ablation catheter line, DAIG.
In 1997 we start with the commercialization of ST. JUDE cardiodefibrilator VENTITREX.
In 2000 BIOIMPLANT S.A. start representing, nationwide as well, the german coronary stent line MSM.
In 2004 ST. JUDE MEDICAL decided to establish themselves through a direct business subsidiary. At this time, and after 10 years of continuous successful performances in Argentina we were forced to stop our relation with ST. JUDE MEDICAL.
We represent at present time BOSTON SCIENTIFIC pacemakers, former INTERMEDICS, and devices developed for the treatment of Cardiac Insufficiencies such resynchronizes, cardiodefibrilators, cardiodefibrilators with resynchronized features. All of them manufactured by GUIDANT/BOSTON SCIENTIFIC.
We are, as well, the exclusive representatives of CID (Former Sorin) for their coronary stent line and balloon catheters.
